Life is full of challenges. Especially for girls getting education is a big challenge. Getting education is compulsory for every one. Every religion put stress on getting education.
Education teaches the difference between man and animal. But in our society girls have to face certain challenges in regards of education.
In our society a number of girls are deprived off getting education. This is very common practice among lower class.
Number of lower class is greater than number of upper class. People used to live in their past. Where our forefather didn’t in the favor of girls education.
One of the major challenge is patriarchy.
Parents favor the education of their sons over their daughters. Whenever there is a tradeoff between boys and girls for sending school; parents prefer to expend on boys education as they are they future earning hands of their families.
Typically, education of a boy is desirable because they are earning hands and leading of their families. However, education of a girl is not necessarily desirable because any investment made would not bear fruit for their family since girls leave to live with the family of their husband.
In our society coeducation is not accepted even in primary schools. Family and parents don’t allow their girls to study in coeducation schools due to several reasons.
The government often failed to take measures to provide separate school and classrooms for girls.
Girls are still consider inferior part of society. This is a very tough challenge for every girl to overcome it. If a girl get educated, it is impossible for her to do job.
Difference of mentality
In our society there’s huge difference between mentality of Islamic minded people and fashionable people.
Islamic minded people are against of girls education. Islam is against the free intermingling of girls and boys. So Islamic people prefer their daughters stay home rather than to get education or serve them as a helping hand.
Fashionable people are greatly in favor of girls education. They prefer to provide chances to their daughters to get education and serve them as a helping hand. They consider them as equal gender to man.
